Smart sensors that collect data from the whole apiary

Tiny smart sensors can be installed anywhere in the apiary and collect data from inside and outside of beehives, or offer security functions
- All sensors are wireless
- Sensors are easy to install on hive frames or between them
- All sensors are equipped with a remote strip with a QR code
- Sensors are safe for bees and do not disturb the colony
- Sensors last all season long on one set of batteries

Security functions
Movement, shift, or fall of the hive

Sound frequency monitoring

  • Overheating or elevated CO2 levels
  • Preparation for swarming and the moment of swarming
  • Acceptance or non-acceptance of the queen and her absence
  • Productive or unproductive honey collection
  • Possible varroa mite or black bug infestation
  • Timely detection of certain sound frequencies at all times helps prevent negative consequences for the bee family.

Temperature monitoring
Deviations from the ideal temperature is the first sign of an unhealthy bee colony

Humidity monitoring
Before sealing the honey (or honeycombs), the bees actively ventilate the hive and work to evaporate excessive moisture.
High humidity equals negative conditions for honey and wintering of bees.

What it can do:
Data collection once per hour (can be adjusted):
·       Temperature and humidity inside the beehive
·       10 sec. of audio recording at a frequency of 0~1400Hz
·       Displacement or fall detection
·       Operating time is up to 10 months (2 x AAA batteries)

App shows
·       Humidity and temperature are shown in one graph
·       4 selected sound frequencies in one chart
·       Audio player for playback of 10-second recordings

Bee Army monitor System Review

I purchase the kit the first of Jan, it is well thought out from the frequencies ranges that is shown as well as the graphing for temperature, humidity, sound and weight. I was also impressed with the ease of setup to get the data back to the database to allow remote monitoring, it was really easy to get everything setup with very detailed instructions, would definitely buy again
