Our Screened Bottom Board fits 10-frame Langstroth hive bodies.

Screened bottom boards are an excellent way to improve ventilation and reduce moisture inside the hive. Screened bottom boards also provide more hygienic conditions as hive beetles, wax cappings, and other debris can fall through the screen and not require manual cleaning.

Depending on your location and winter conditions, it can be a good practice to place a cover under the screen in the winter to reduce wind drafts.
