Fume Board

The fume board is a beekeeper's best friend when pulling supers for honey extraction. This sun-capturing fume board is pre-assembled for your convenience and ready to streamline your harvesting process.

How To Use:

1. Begin by removing the hive's lid and inner cover. A gentle puff of smoke will help calm the bees and prepare them for the process.

2. Next, choose your preferred bee repellent, such as Fischer's Bee Quick, Honey Bandit, or Bee Gone, and apply it generously to the felt side of the fume board.

3. Now, place the fume board onto the hive, ensuring the felt side is facing down. Rotate it slightly so that the corners of the hive are left open. This allows crucial airflow through the hive.

4. After about 2 or 3 minutes, gently rotate the fume board back into its original position, completely covering the hive. Let it sit for an additional 4-5 minutes.

5. You'll notice the magic happening as the bees begin to vacate the supers, making honey extraction a breeze.
