A backyard kit of a beehive monitoring system Include essential components that provide accurate data while being easy to manage for smaller-scale beekeepers.

Designed for apiaries located near the home with access to WiFi. Control unit also equipped with built in LTE modem which let the Control unit connect to the Internet if home WiFi down or if an apiary is located to far from home WiFi.  This system monitors all key conditions of the bee colonies and reduces the time needed to maintain the apiary.

  • Scales: You will see how much nectar the colony is bringing in, when it’s time to add another super, and when the bees start consuming honey, signaling it's time to harvest.
  • Base Sensor: Installed in the top super, this sensor helps monitor the strength of the colony. If the colony consistently maintains stable internal temperature and humidity, regardless of external environmental changes, it indicates that the colony is healthy and developing well. If the internal conditions fluctuate with the outside environment, it signals that the beekeeper needs to take action.
  • Multi-sensor: Installed in the lower part of the hive (brood chamber), this sensor collects data on temperature, humidity, and the frequency of bee sounds. Based on this data set, the system can predict future events and detect emerging situations. For example, it can detect a colony’s preparation for swarming 5-10 days in advance, identify queen loss, or indicate whether the colony has accepted a new queen. The beekeeper will have valuable time to assess what’s happening inside the hive and take corrective measures.

As the apiary grows, additional sensors can be purchased and connected to the beekeeper’s existing control unit. This option reduces the overall cost per hive.
Apiary data is available to the beekeeper anytime and anywhere through the mobile app or personal account on the website.
